Our Purpose:
To work with people in our community to strengthen and support the healthy development of young children and their families.
What we want to do:
- Use our collective resources more effectively to improve the well-being of young children
- Explore new approaches to early identification of young children’s needs.
- Make it easier for families to obtain the services they need.
- Identify features of our community that enhance opportunities for young children and their families.
- Encourage all sectors of our community to promote healthy childhood development.
How our community will benefit:
- Healthy children equal a healthy community. A healthy community is a better place to live for everyone.
- Young children are the future work force. The healthier children are, the more productive our community will be.
- Investing in young children will help reduce health and social costs.
- Making sure of healthy development will assist schools to do their job more effectively.
