Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Program
Parenting an infant, toddler or pre-schooler brings up many questions, uncertainties and often insecurity. Understanding your child's health needs, behaviour, growth and emotional changes and be confusing. Every parent loves their child yet wonders, "Am I a good enough parent?". It is one of the most frequently asked questions and the hardest to answer. Parenting is something we are not born knowing; we learn it from our own experience as children, observing other parents and through subtle and direct messages form media, professionals, family and even friends.
Created by Health Canada and coordinated in British Columbia by the BC council for Families, Nobody's Perfect Parenting Program is a cross-Canada program for parents of children from birth to five.

Resources for Parents
Every parent who attends the Nobody's Perfect Parenting Program receives, free of charge, the fie books: Mind, Body, Behaviour, Safety and Parents which give useful child development information and parenting tips for various ages and stages from birth to five years. These resources are available in English, French, Punjabi, Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese. Additional resources available include the Feelings, Fathers and Strategies for Parenting Children with FASD books.
