Magpie Corners is a Free 11-week program running every Thursday from 9:00am until 12 noon.

This is a parent participation program providing:

  • ·         Community resources and quality early childhood experience for single moms and their children 0-6 years old.

This is a unique program that provides:

  • ·         Community speakers
  • ·         Resources to take home
  • ·         Referrals to other services
  • ·         A great opportunity to connect with other moms
  • ·         Tips on handling your kids

An Early Childhood Program with qualified ‘early childhood educators’ coming alongside the moms to support and give child care information and guidance. (not to mention the break).

Mother Goose is based on the idea that playful, imaginative language should be an important part of a child’s life from infancy and beyond.  All Mother Goose programs are free!

What Happens at Mother Goose?

·         Small groups meet for about an hour once a week in a friendly relaxed place.

·         Facilitators lead parents with their children in songs, rhymes and finger plays

·         Snack time lets you get to know other parents and children in your community

·         Programs last for up to 10 weeks.
